Behnam Mirzaei

Behnam Mirzaei received his M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Tabriz, Iran in 2009, and his Ph.D. from Delft University of Technology in 2018. His Ph.D. was focused on development of local oscillators for space THz heterodyne receivers. He has contributed to NASA’s GUSTO (Galactic / X-galactic Ultra-duration-balloon Spectroscopic / Stratospheric Terahertz Observatory), and is currently developing the technology for future THz heterodyne space missions including new wide-bandwidth MgB2 hot electron bolometer (HEB) mixers and novel dual-polarization HEBs.
